Sustainable Engineering Design Challenge
Organizer: Engineers Without Borders - University of Waterloo Chapter
This event challenges high school students to design a sustainable-freestanding classroom given specific constraints and a budget. Students will learn more about the engineering design process, have an opportunity to talk to current Waterloo Engineering Students, meet other aspiring engineers, and put their problem solving & innovative skills to the test. During the competition students will be taught about sustainable development and what it means to design a sustainable classroom. The competition will be on March 20th from 4:30pm-8:00pm where you will be competing in teams of 2-4 (individual competitors will be placed in a team with other students).
